Spanish Educational Center in NY
CENY is an non-profit educational association in New York City. Focused on children of Spanish background, it aims to reinforce their connection to the culture and language of Spain. CENY currently functions as a Spanish day school on Saturdays but their ultimate ambition is to create a bilingual school, the first of its kind in New York City.
The circle shape of the logo represents Planet Earth and the union of all Spanish speakers across it. It is formed by the letters C and E which stand for "Centro Español" (Spanish Center) or "Colegio Español" (Spanish School), anticipating the moment when CENY grows into a established school. For the website, we created a fresh, friendly look, inspired by the freshness and spontaneity of children. The main page showcases a mosaic of photos of the little students of CENY and it is designed in the shape of a binder, where each flap takes the user to a different aspect of the school.
